When lenders, landlords, or whoever ask for two pieces that can prove income, use any of the documents below.

- Recent federal tax return
- Month worth of pay stubs
- Check stubs
- Ongoing contracts

- Federal tax returns - two years
- Profit/loss statement - quarterly or year-to-date

- Social security award letter from approval

- Bank statement if you receive your payments by direct deposit

- Award letter showing you're approved, for how long, and for how much
